"Liberty American Dance Theater"
Messiah Dance Works Company was started in 1989 and is the premier Faith-based Dance Company in the City of Philadelphia. The Company, as they are known, combines the elements of Ballet, Modern, and African Dance to create an extraordinary performance experience that delivers a message. These technically trained dancers put forth joyous energy that comes from knowing the source of all joy. Their unique style has graced stages and venues from Philadelphia to the former Soviet Union. With a reputation on the rise, Messiah has recently been featured at Odunde (2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001); ICCA Conference (2007, 2006,2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001); LaSalle University(2006); AIDS Walk (2003); Philadelphia Zoo Safari Park Opening (2003); African American Family Reunion Festival (2003, 2002); International Baptist Conference (2001); Kujenga Viongozi Catholic Leadership weekend (1996-2007).
